OOC Rules
Player Ages and Restrictions
Boarding is an all male character game, but it is not strictly a sex or romance game. While it is perfectly acceptable for players to play with the intent of finding romance for their characters, it is neither encourage nor discouraged. It is entirely the player's choice. However, since there is a possibility of romance and adult content, we ask that all players meet the minimum age requirement of 16. Further more, all adult content is to be locked to the community, cut, and be marked with the proper age restrictions.
No Godmodding/Metagaming
This means that, unless given permission beforehand, that you do not dictate the actions of the other player's character, whether it be something as small as talking or something as large as how hard a punch lands.
Additionally, things that you know OOC may not necessarily transfer ICly to your character, especially regarding other characters and game events. No breaking of the fourth wall, please.
Stay In Character
While we understand (and even encourage!) character growth and development, please keep in mind your character's core personality traits and where they are coming from. Furthermore-
OOC≠IC
You are not your character; other players are not their characters. Your personal opinion of a character or fandom should not affect your character's IC reaction. Alternatively, an IC attack on your character from another character is not an OOC attack on you.
OOC Conflicts
If you have a conflict with another player or a concern about part of the game, please bring it to the mods. You may use the mod contact page to leave a comment there or directly contact one of the mods.
Activity
As of this point in time, there is no activity check system in place. We are waiting until a time when the game is big enough, and active enough to require one before we implement it. Do not think this is free reign to character squat, however. The mods will be monitoring activity, and players will be contacted if we feel a nudge is necessary.
